I was so honored to be a part of Angela and Michael's wedding day. Angela was my best friend in Junior high and in high school and though we don't stay in contact nearly as well as we should I know that I will always have a friend in her.
We started the morning off at the Radisson in Monroeville where the girls got ready in the penthouse. From there we were off to the Greek Orthodox Church in Oakmont, PA where the ceremony would take place and the reception at the Rivers Landing right across the street. The ceremony was beautiful, performed in both Greek and English. After we headed to take a couple of photos outside on the grounds before heading into the reception hall.
The whole day was just absolutely perfect! It was so nice to spend the day with such awesome people and I hope that I did the event justice! Congrats Angela and Michael! Please enjoy your photos!

Venue: Airport Mariott, courtyard wedding and ballroom reception

The weather was absolutely beautiful on Saturday, May 24. We started the morning with the girl getting beautiful at the Airport Mariott where the ceremony and reception would take place. Krystle and Erik decided to see each other before the ceremony in order to have more time to travel and take photos in the city. We visited the columns at Carnegie Mellon and took some formals of the beautiful bridal party and then headed off to the West End Overlook. One of the groomsmen suggested that they climb the tree to take photos and Krystle and Erik were all for it! They were boosted into the tree for some amazing photos, but I could not believe that they were willing to do this BEFORE the ceremony!!! They made it down from their perch without a hitch and we were off to the bar that they met at for a couple fun photos.

The ceremony took place in the hotel courtyard and the reception followed immediately in the ballroom. The venue, the day and the people were all fantastic! I am so happy that I was able to document their day. Krystle and Erik, I wish you many years of happiness! Enjoy the photos!

I had the pleasure of shooting with the FABULOUS Monica Z Photography for my two weddings this weekend! On Saturday we joined with Megan and Brian and their families to celebrate their wedding vows. They had many Scottish traditions represented and a beautiful ceremony and reception! The reception took place at the new Water's Edge exhibit at the zoo, surrounded by polar bears and sea otters. We had so much fun with the bridal party throughout the day and were so happy to share it with you. Congrats Meg and Brian! Enjoy the show! I was very excited for the beginning of the wedding season and for starting it off with a wedding for a close friend. I have known Jamie for a couple years now and she told me as soon as we met that I would be shooting her wedding, even before she was engaged. Friday I was able to just this, shooting her wedding to her long time sweetheart, John. The day was definitely wet, but it did not damper spirits. Jamie and John chose to see each other before the ceremony to take photos and it was awesome to see the two interact throughout the day knowing that very soon they would be man and wife. The ceremony took place at Phipps Conservatory and the clouds parted enough after the ceremony to grab some quick shots on Mt. Washington before heading on to the reception at the Le Mont. The whole day was beautiful with every detail attended to. Congrats Jamie and John! Enjoy the slideshow.
